2007 - Our lumberyard has moved to 74 Elgin Street in Arnprior!
The heart of our company lies with our President, Dave Pajot.
Growing up on a farm, he already had a passion for the irregular textures
and deep
hues of century-old timber and boards from his family's old barns. Later
on in life, as a journeyman carpenter, he grew to respect how wood could
be manipulated with hand tools to create beautiful homes for his clients.
Cabinetry, flooring and trim would adorn these homes, all from God's gift
to man wood! Being a bit of a romantic, Dave thought, "Wouldn't
it be great to do all of this the old-fashioned way, with wood
from old barns." The rest, as they say, is history!
Dave's
wife, Jody helps him with the office duties and home-schools
their three children, Clayton, Olivia and Joshua.
Dave thinks he's got the easy job! The Pajot family's interests are learning
to sail in the summer and skiing and dogsledding in the winter. They recently
bought a new sled and their first dog - a purebred Siberian Husky named
Denver. He was born Dec. 22, 03. Look for them at next year's
Yukon Quest on the sidelines cheering on the real racers!
